Ubisoft today announced the formation of a new Division of film within your business, strangely named, Ubisoft Motion Pictures. The new film Division is responsible for transforming Ubisoft game franchises in film and television adaptations.

Last year Ubisoft Prince of Persia was released as the film Prince of Persia: the sands of time film, staring Jake Gyllenhaal and netted 335 million dollars in sales at the box office worldwide.

The new Division will be led by the former Director General of EuropaCorp, Jean-Julien Barronet and Ubisoft already has an extensive list of popular games ready to become the film’s box office, as the creed of the murderer and the range of Tom Clancy’s games.

Nintendo announced today it will launch a new Wii 2, a successor to his original Wii games console, which will arrive sometime in 2012, laying down rumors of the rest of the non-official release dates.
