Lenovo has confirmed that its new ThinkPad X 1 will come very soon and is full of features, but its a super thin design, measuring only 21.5 mm of thickness.

The main advance of the new Lenovo ThinkPad X 1 is its new battery called “sector” which is not replaceable by the user, but will offer increases in mass performance according to Lenovo. The new “sector” battery will last three times as more a normal battery says Lenovo and is recharging 2.5 times faster than the previous cell ThinkPad.

The RapidCharge function used to recharge the battery will be able to take an empty drums from zero to 80 per cent in only 30 minutes.

Other specifications of the new Lenovo ThinkPad X 1 include a 2.5 GHz Core i5-2520M CPU, 8 GB of RAM memory, a 160 GB SSD, a 13.3-inch 1366 x 768 resolution Gorilla glass screen and it will be equipped with an SDXC card reader.
